“And the LORD, He [is] the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV
In Christ, we have a promise that the God of the universe is always with us. He never leaves. Never. No. Matter. What.
In times of trouble, this truth up against hard facts of life, may feel like a fairy tale. And through your darkness moments, this promise may seem impossible; nonetheless, the truth stands. God is with you.
"If He is here, why is he letting this happen to me?!"
King David had a revelation of this because he said, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You [are] there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You [are there] (Psalm 139:7-8, NKJV). It is so reassuring that no matter where you are, God is there. Sometimes, the journey here is long and the road weary, but keep going. When you are tired, God is there to revive you. When you want to quit, God is there to carry you. When you are lost, God is there to help you find your way.
